Gin Packaging Design

For this special gin packaging design we used a trick: an unique bottle design. We envisioned a custom bottle shape that will attract customers eyes and make the beverage get noticed on the shelf.

The exquisite gin bottle design costs more to produce (a custom sample in a factory  will mean a few thousand dollars and of course until you will get to the desired result more samples will be made), however the end results will influence considerably the sales so it might be worth it, if you have a good budget.

The label design is complementing the custom bottle design and it is inspired by jazz music and New Orleans music clubs. A quality label design is important for any beverage, even if you don't have a custom bottle and you have chosen a standard one from a producer's catalog, a clean original label will showcase the quality of the product.

The main audience for the alcoholic drink is represented by males, so the entire design is quite dark and the black and grey colors used wrap the packaging in a mysterious air.

Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, United States. It originated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and developed from roots in blues and ragtime.

Did you know? Situated on a bend of the Mississippi River 100 miles from its mouth, New Orleans has been the chief city of Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico’s busiest northern port since the early 1700s. Founded by the French, ruled for 40 years by the Spanish and bought by the United States in the 1803 Louisiana Purchase, New Orleans is known for its distinct Creole culture and vibrant history.

New Orleans’ creative, laid-back spirit is embodied in, well, the spirits, but there’s more to drinking here than downing frozen daiquiris and Hand Grenades on Bourbon Street.

No other city in America keeps its history as vital or as accessible as New Orleans. Entire neighborhoods, whole buildings, cemetery crypts, manhole covers, cobblestone streets and ancient oaks serve as touchstones to vanished eras.

The first Mardi Gras in the United States was celebrated in March 1699 when Iberville and Bienville landed at the mouth of the Mississippi River on Mardi Gras and dubbed the spot Point du Mardi Gras and celebrated with their men.
