"Inside the hive" Honey Packaging Design

For this exquisite honey packaging design we followed 2 distinct directions:
  1. handmade illustrations with activities from the bee hive
  2. a special design for the jar done with Eco-friendly materials - wood & glass
The life inside the hive is a fascinating world and we wanted to make the customers focus on this miniature univers so they can better appreciate the amazing product the bees are producing.

The black background puts the focus on the white custom illustrations that embellish the label.

For the practical side, the jar is marked so customers can follow-up the quantity for the remaining honey.

We very much understand and commend the beekeepers effort, we know they face many challenges lately like:
  • insecticide and misuse of pesticides are constraining the beekeeping good practices
  • the health of the bee colony because of different diseases
  • honey prices and market demand
  • bad weather can be the blame for a lighter crop or delayed bloom
Honey is a very important premium product with many health benefits:
  • lots of antioxidants
  • antibacterial and anti-fungal
  • heals wounds
  • helps digestive issues
  • helps lower blood pressure
  • improves cholesterol levels
